My Favorite Container Gardening Supplies

  • Seed Trays

These trays come in black or colors and they’re great for putting under your containers to catch the water and save your floor.

  • 1 Gallon Containers

I had my doubts about these at first, they felt flimsy, but you get 60 of them… Honestly, they’re worth it. most of my herbs are in them and they’re a lot more sturdy than I thought.

  • Indoor Grow Tent

If you want an all in one indoor garden setup, this is definitely a good choice. We added a small space heater and only had issues with the humidifier, which we replaced. This is a great option for your basement in winter that keeps everything contained and doesn’t run up your electric bill heating the entire basement.

  • Full Spectrum LED Lights

We use these in the grow tent and they work great. They hang from the top bars and we didn’t notice any lights going out or overheating. Its also adjustable to change the color spectrum depending on what stage your plants are at. It’s also a 2 pack, so that’s a plus!

  • Standing Grow Lights

I loved using these lights on the porch when we lived in an apartment. They made adding light to multiple shelves easy and they had a timer. We lived in Florida at the time and they dealt with the heat and the rain like a champ.

  • Seed Starter Pots

These little pots are what we start a lot of our seeds in. With the lids, it makes starting seed easier in winter and the cooler months because humidity is lower then. One thing I have noticed though is they are VERY GOOD at keeping in moisture, so the soil can get mold quick if you’re not careful.
